World Pentecost Day Message

God has one ultimate mission, the preaching of the Good News, the spread of the great commission. This is well said in Matthew 28:18-19. This is done through the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:44-49). This task is great and Jesus told the Disciples that they needed to first be filled with power (Acts 1:8). 

The Power Of The Word of God

Joseph was sent in advance even though he was sold as a slave. God was preparing a solution for the children of Israel in advance (Psalm 105:17-21). There are times when you have the word and you know it is your word and not anybody else’s. You hear this word in a clear way and you know it is your word. Some of us, the things we are going through, the situations we are in, we do not need many things, we only need one word from God.

How Do We Invite Favour Into Our Lives – Special Skills.

Favour comes in two portions, you find favour before God and also before man (Proverbs 18:16).

God’s favour will sometimes flow through the skills that you have. What will differentiate you from another person so that you can be chosen to perform a special task? It’ll be your skill or your gift. What is it that God has given you as a special gift that makes you peculiar or stand out from your friends?

How Do We Invite Favour Into Our Lives – A Life of Sanctification

A life of sanctification invites the favour of God on our life. Joseph lived a life of sanctification (Genesis 39:7-9). Joseph lived a life of purity and Holiness, no wonder he had the favour of God. The Church of today isn’t walking in Holiness, the fear of God is far from our lives. We commit whatever sin we want with no fear of God. Yet, we expect the favour of God.

Reigning In Life Through His Favour To Possess Your Inheritance

You need the Favour of God to possess your inheritance. Each and everyone of us has an inheritance, God gave you an inheritance. Understand that the will of God is the word of God and it is in the word of God. In the Bible, we find the will of God, what God wants to do, what God wants to give us. For a will to become effective, the one who wrote the will must die.
